Pay : $20/hr on w2 basis without benefits.
Note: This is a part time position
Scheduled Days: Tuesday to Thursday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Description:
The Office Services Clerk is individually responsible for supporting the organization while reflecting a professional image. This role will perform a variety of tasks and help facilitate an efficient mail delivery within the Rosemont Corporate Office. The position requires strong organization, interpersonal, time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as working effectively with others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following represents the core duties to be performed by this position, the list is not meant to be all-inclusive or restrict assignment of other duties.
• Greets guests and interacts with office personnel and visitors in a professional and positive manner. The highest commitment to customer service, development, and satisfaction is a key component of this role.
• Must be able to carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional office services work area, ensuring the space extends a welcoming and attractive climate.
• Receive all inbound mail; sort, record packages and distribute mail to appropriate floors, departments, and individuals.
• Correct and forward misdirected mail, as needed.
• Timely manage all outgoing mail; collect, prepare, document tracking details and ship.
• Monitoring mailroom email and Teams accounts; respond timely to associates inquires.
• Support the receptionist(s) in ensuring the support needs of the Rosemont campus are effectively addressed in an efficient and effective manner.
• Assist with special assignments and general administrative duties as assigned; to include but not limited to sorting, alphabetizing, decollating, stuffing, inserting, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• One to three years’ experience in mailroom, office services or other relevant field required.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and customer service skills.
• Must have customer service skills, and be able to maintain a consistent, professional level of service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to effectively address concerns and problem solve while also maintaining adherence to standards.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer and Internet skills
• Standing for long periods of time; significant walking, pushing, picking and packaging items is
• Ability to lift; up to 55 pounds on occasion.
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
